Dr. Colón works with both individuals and couples. He began his clinical training in 2008, and since that time has worked with a broad range of people confronting significant life challenges. His practice areas have included: phase of life issues; significant life transitions; depression; anxiety; interpersonal challenges; relationship or partnership difficulties; sexual-identity and gender-identity issues; profound loss and grief; and what might be best described as unspecific, but persistent malaise and dissatisfaction with life. Dr. Colón has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including college and university counseling centers, community mental health centers, a residential post-crisis stabilization facility, and a juvenile correctional facility. He received his doctoral training through The Wright Institute, in Berkeley, California, and completed his pre-doctoral internship at the University of Maine. As a post-doctoral resident at Big Sky Psychological Consortium, Dr. Colón practices under the direct supervision of Michele McKinnie, Psy.D. and William Ryan, Ph.D..
